Kateryna Kukhar and Oleksandr Stoianov, principal dancers of the Grand Kyiv Ballet, found themselves stranded in Europe when Russia invaded Ukraine but managed to secure their children's safety with the help of loved ones before finding refuge in Seattle. Now, they're touring America, performing in "Giselle," aiming to share Ukrainian culture amidst the turmoil of war.


Deborah S. Brant steps up as permanent president and CEO of Cincinnati Ballet after just ten weeks as interim, marking a swift resolution to recent leadership changes. With a background in fundraising for prestigious arts organizations and a strong community service record, Brant's appointment is met with enthusiasm from within the company. Focused on bolstering the ballet's ties to its hometown, Brant aims to enhance community engagement and solidify the company's presence in Greater Cincinnati.


Danish Queen Margrethe, known for her artistic talents, designs ballet costumes and sets for Tivoli amusement park's Pantomime theater, celebrating the park's 150th anniversary with a production based on Hans Christian Andersen's "Clumsy Hans." Despite stepping down from the throne earlier this year due to health reasons, Margrethe's creative endeavors continue to enrich Danish cultural heritage, showcasing her dedication to storytelling through art.


Ballet icon Evelyn Hart mentors young dancers in the Okanagan region, preparing them for an upcoming gala performance. Hart, known for her illustrious career, shares her expertise and inspires the next generation of dancers. The gala will showcase the talents of these aspiring dancers under Hart's guidance.

In celebration of Women's History Month, The Rosin Box Project returns to Liberty Station's Arts District with their most ambitious season yet, featuring three brand new creations from San Diego-based emerging female choreographers and a special commission from Guest Choreographer Cherice Barton. The project, known for surprising audiences with its innovative performances, emphasizes the inclusivity of ballet while promoting its necessity as a form of art.
