“In the industry, believe it or not, you are very very valued. In many different areas, in many different places.”

Jessica Watkins is a New York-based dancer, choreographer, and roller dancer from Virginia Beach. She creates from a place of faith, family, and culture, showcasing her versatility across different dance styles and settings. Additionally, Jessica teaches dance at Street Corner Resources in Harlem, an anti-gun violence after-school program, and will soon be teaching at a public high school in Queens. She continues her training with the Fly-By Night Dance Theater Company, specializing in aerial dance, and will be working at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago's teen intensive.
