Jessica Watkins is a New York-based dancer, choreographer, and roller dancer from Virginia Beach. She creates from a place of faith, family, and culture, showcasing her versatility across different dance styles and settings. She is currently working with Threads of Truth, an Afro-contemporary dance company, the Joyce King Dance Company, and Miss'ile Team, a roller dance company. Additionally, Jessica teaches dance at Street Corner Resources in Harlem, an anti-gun violence after-school program, and will soon be teaching at a public high school in Queens. She continues her training with the Fly-By Night Dance Theater Company, specializing in aerial dance, and will be working at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago's teen intensive.
